Happy as hell right now...just gotta pass a few more tests and I'm golden to go to paradise on the USS Sante Fe SSN 763.

****ty thing is the damn gun laws in Hawaii. Going to be tough since I won't be able to conceal carry there....and do the idiotic seal up my gun in a lock box BS in my vehicle.

Probably only bringing 4 guns down to that place with me to limit the amount of registration I have to do.

Jiro, you may as well just leave them at home. I'm not sure you have a feel how much steaming a fast attack does.

Forget the inconvenience of the gun laws in Hawaii, you will be at sea for most of the time.

I was stationed in and worked out of Hawaii, 1965-68, with Army Intelligence. What a great place to be stationed. My advice, get to know the local people and learn some of the culture. Try the local food and respect the local customs. I had to return to the Mainland to take care of my Foster Mother or I would still be there. Drink lots of Primo beer...have one for me. You will love Hawaii.

Find some buds and learn to hunt hogs with a knife. Maybe a crossbow is legal there?

It's not the paradise you think. The COLA benefits will all be needed to survive. Drug use is rampant and crime is a big problem, about 25% higher than the national average.

I really don't care either way.....it's better than Kings Bay Georgia and I get to make port calls since it's a SSN.
