Just curious as to why a member's (assuming now a former member's) thread was deleted.
Not that I'll lose any sleep over it; it's y'all's place to run as you see fit. I'm more interested in the values of the folks running this place. After all, there are thousands of posts and threads dedicated to the freedom of speech, religion, fire arms, and a host of other items. But then something is deleted when it's a bit too candid toward someone with a power button.
Not looking to razz or flame anyone. Just questioning the mindset for some personal clarity on this places core values.
Happy Sunday all.
I'm a Mod in another forums, and I would have deleted this, too.
It's negative, rude, and has little social value. This site is
lucky, because of it's nature, it's probably not considered
a "family oriented forums". We also have the burden of
considering what's "wholesome entertainment".
Most moderators are volunteers, and have a massive amount
of spam to deal with, before they even start to consider whether
a user's post is appropriate. I've seen the good, the bad, and
the ugly, and, IMHO, the job these folks do here at FTF is
nothing short of stellar.
There's all sorts of Fora. Perhaps this person should consider
membership in a general politics, or personal attitudes forums.
