I did not get picked to serve on a jury (I want too sometime though) and when the court room was doing the whole thing asking if anyone knew the guy on trial. The guy next to me said he did and the guy on trial fired him from a job, then he said yes he will say he is guilty, he did not get picked but I thought it was funny.

Mom worked for an insurace company years ago and got called for jury duty. The case was a car accident and the resulting dispute with the insurance company. It was not the company Mom worked for. Both Lawyers got rid of her quick from the jury pool. One because she might like her job and side with the insurance company, the other because she might hate her job and side against it.

I served on a jury. The case concerned a Kidnapping and Murder. It was one of the most interesting things I have ever done.

I've had the "joy" of serving on juries in two different states, PA & DE. It is one of the most boring, yet interesting things I've done.
