I posted a coment. I stated that I was in the Army, and that we were trained not to follow illegal orders. Then I simply said "Wake up"

Yeah, what a prick. In another thread on FB he said I am a hairs breadth away from becoming the next mass murderer because I own guns and support the NRA and the Second Amendment.
I responded by calling his mother a whore. Well, not in that many words. I actually said that what he said would be like me calling his mother a prostitute
simply because she has a vagina. .

it's not worth arguing with people like that ... no amount of rationale will enlighten them ... they are completely paralyzed by their fears and that drives their emotions and thus results in their behavior

He is a useful idiot. I use him to work on my debate skills. I can look up stuff quickly and it gets filed away for later. He has actually been helpful to me in that way. But it can be taxing.

[Shakes his head in disbelief]
Karim Khaldi Hans, a man with a penis is more likely to commit rape than a woman is. Someone who consumes child pornography is more likely to molest children. Someone who drinks and drive is more likely to commit an accident. Someone who owns and operate guns is more likely to commit a crime with guns. That's why certain things are regulated. I sure hope you are many many steps away from becoming mass murderers, but yes, I am very concerned when someone threatens to become violent if they disagree with a new law. We live in society; we don't agree with every law, but this is not a restaurant menu: you don't get to pick and choose which law you abide to. And you cannot get violent if you disagree with the law. That's criminal. Law abiding gun owners would accept to follow any law enacted, even if it means they would surrender their guns. They would of course fight against the law they disagree with, through peaceful political methods. That's what a society is about. I know many hunters who think that their love for their country is greater than their love for their guns. They are the real patriots, making personal sacrifice for the greater good.
