What is the John Wayne film he wishes he had not done, and few of us have seen? I have not seen it.

Yep. I read once he tried to purchase the movie back, and burn it. The studio worked out a deal where it was released overseas, and American theaters never showed it?

Trivia: What John Wayne movie has The Duke critically shoot Jonny Crawford, the actor that played Mark McCain on The Rifleman?

Hint: The Duke picks up a sidekick with a silly hat.

One of the worst films of all times, says one review. I have never seen it, don't think I want to.

I work with fonts for a living, and the John Wayne Susan Hayward type has something odd about it. Notice how her lettering is not as compact as his is? The AYWARD goes a little taller and below the line, where the AYNE is shorter and on the line. How odd.

I wonder if the movie poster also did that to their billing?

It looks to me like maybe Susan Haywood might have received Co-Star billing after the basic poster was designed, and her text was added by someone who didn't know the difference between caps and small caps. How do the letterform weights look? I can't really tell from the photo.
