Default Little Boys...............

When they were filming the Cowboys with bruce dern, dern was quoted as saying that the duke threw him around like a rag doll in the fight scene. The Duke says to dern, You know they gonna hate you for this, lol..............And I still do. But Hey he a hot looking daughter that lived next door.........

I always thought " Red River" was a good film, " The Searchers" to me was one of the first dark and gritty westerns. " Donovan's Reef " is still one of my all time favorites, and Lee Marvin's portrayal of Gilhooley was excellent. I was always impressed with how many excellent supporting actors John Wayne always had in most of his films, he gave many the exposure to become stars in their own right, something I think he should have been very proud in accomplishing.

I was always disappointed that holly-weird never gave him the opportunity to portray Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson or Pat Garrett.

The Quite Man with Maureen O'Hara.. St.Pat's day is near so I'm guessing that AMC etc. will be playing it very soon..

HAHA Cowboys is one of my favorite JW movies and to be honest I still hold a grudge against Bruce Dern. True Grit was his best movie IMHO.
