I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

LOL, nice job posting. Well written and very good. Now if only those elected would read it and understand what their responsibilities are.

I was OK with it till I read:

Quote:
Job Type
Full Time
Employee
It is neither a full time job or one as an employee. It is Part Time and an Elected Official is NEVER considered an Employee, they can neither be hired or fired (impeached, yes, fired NO) They only have to account to the people that elected them.

Nice job ad though.
Jim

Yep.
I took issue with:

· Media-savvy with excellent communications skills, oration a plus
· Open to travel more than 50% of the time

You don't have to be media savy if you're doing your job properly. It speaks for itself.
And these numbnuts don't need to be flying all over the country and world to figure out and solve problems. Corporate America has had to scale back travel to help profitability and still get the job done. No reason politicians can't.

And the people we elected are sure doing a great job of that!
