??? WTF?
White Hoodie didn’t draw his gun until after Barry Fixler fired and Trench Coat had left the store. I’m wondering if Hoodie was even aware or expecting Coat was going to attempt the robbery.
Fixler is pretty trim. I don’t see any evidence of an IWB holster under his tight white shirt. Coat draws at 1:27. At 2:00 Fixler states he had shot five rounds and his gun is now empty so I’m guessing revolver? That’s evading, retrieving his gun from wherever, firing all rounds, and reloading in 0:25.
Except I can’t make out whether Fixler says he reloaded and shot 3 more, or was mistaken the first time and had only shot 3 rounds the first time. Can any of you make it out?
I don’t think the diamond engagement ring was for a proposal. Coat put it back down on the counter when he could have just run out the door when Fixler was behind the counter.
Armed robbery of a jewelry store. In the morning. Did they think they were going to get cash? Who the hell buys jewelry from a store with cash? Even if some do, how much cash would be in the store before it opened, before customers had even had a chance to buy anything, cash or not? Did they think they were going to fence the diamonds? Obviously Hoodie & Coat are none too bright. What decent fence would go near them? Did they think a pawn shop would take it?
I can’t decide whether I’m sad/upset/pissed that they attempted to rob Fixler, or that Hoodie & Coat were so bad at it.
