We still have the '98 Cherokee & 2012 Compass.

You seriously need to consider a flatty. I mean c'mon man!

These days if you had an original Go-Devil engine you could probably build a complete CJ-2 or 3 from various catalogs!

You can. I have even seen all of the body parts in fiberglass, aluminum and stainless steel. I think you can actually build one completely, including the engine, out of a catalog. If you are into military Jeeps go to G503.com for parts. Ron has everything you need to build up your Jeep right there.

Ha. Y'all call THOSE luxury vehicles JEEPS. How about a WWII vintage Willys? (No, not mine. Belonged to Cin's dad).

Sounds like when I worked for Mid-USA Motorcycles in St. Louis, at the time for around 11 grand you could build a complete "Harley" without using a single Harley part.

How about this one Vikingdad. It is not mine but belongs to a very dear friend. He turned 79 years young back in May. Even though him and his wife have had some health issues he goes when he can. The pic on the rock was take'n the first week in June and the other they are getting ready for the 4th of July this year.
He bought it in 1973. It was setting in a field in south central Ks and had a tree growing thru the floor pan. It had no running gear at the time and has had several different versions over the years. Now it has a 4.3 V6 with a turbo 350 tranny, a Dana 20 transfer case with the internals out of an 18 and 44 axles. He does all the work his self.

Maybe not the glorious antiques you folks are driving, but she gets me to the deer stand every year. And through the high water every time my street floods.

Where do you live? Around here we have summer and January. There are no seasons in between.
