My wife and I often winter in Arizona, near Parker / Lake Havasu.

AZ or CA sides are a lot of fun.

This shot is looking West towards Yuma.

The one my son is interested in is owned by an old high school acquaintance of mine. His dad passed on a few years ago and I saw an ad on Craigslist for Jeep parts as his dad was a collector. When I got over there and realized I knew the guy we started talking, I ended up talking him into hanging onto everything for a couple of years until he had had enough time to mourn his dad's passing. Last summer my youngest son picked up his '46 GPW scripted Ford so I brought him over to see if the guy had any parts for it. They worked out a deal where my son goes over and helps sort through everything and gets paid in parts, or something like that. He has a couple of other Jeeps that my son is interested in (or at least one) and also the Willys FC. Hell, I might want that one for myself!

Here's my 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo. It's actually for sale, of anyone's interested. Just send me a PM. Not really setup for off-roading.

Today my sons and I worked on the younger one's 1942 GPW. It had taken a hit from the front left and that shortened the frame about an inch on that side. we brought the frame over to my buddy's place to work on it. Here is a pic of them working on it.

This is the jeep that my son and I are working on. We need to make a full soft top and doors for it. I still need to wire up the stereo and a few other things. We have put new 31x10.50x15 tire on since this photo. I need to get back to work on it soon. Just been really busy. This is the jeep in the thread that JW357 was referring to above. It is a 1962 CJ6.

I was looking thru the pics I have of mine on Photobucket, but I need to get an updated one of mine. Here's an older one:

It was mentioned earlier about how Jeeps and firearms seem to be a common thing. I know my summer spending is on my Jeep, but I seem to get the bug to buy the other items during winter..

Speaking of winter:

That's my neighbor's TJ in the background - he has good taste in color scheme!

let's see now: 1977 Cherokee Chief; 1993 Cherokee Sport; 1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo; 1996 Cherokee Sport, two-door; 1998 Cherokee SE; 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited; 2012 Jeep Compass Latitude. I think I got 'em all.

We still have the '98 Cherokee & 2012 Compass.

Awesome rig! A cj6 has been on the list for a while. I was too broke to pick up a clean unmolested one last year We do have a local one that is RHD on 1 tons and 38s it's a unique vehicle.

I think each kid is going to build a jeep with me. We will pick one out for their 10th birthday and build them together. That way I can justify having a solid jeep collection.
