Default J.P. Sauer and Sohn

I am trying to find out as much as I can on this company. I can't believe that I never put it together before, but my Great Great Grandfather's last name was Sauer and he came from an area in Germany that is close to where JP Sauer is out of. If any members can point in a direction on the history of this company, I would be deeply thankful. I am doing my own google research, but am not getting much. I do know that my GG Grandfather came to the US when he was 17 and he was born in 1865 near Beerfeld Germany. He was a blacksmith in the small town of Klaasville Indiana.
