HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
The Tavor is a nice design, and it's an effective weapon system, but you are going to have to go pretty far back in American Military History to find them mass issuing a weapon that was made in another country.
I am guessing probably WWII was the last time, but I am no history professor...
They will probably be invited to take part in the trials, should the military ever decide to upgrade the M4 platform, but I would be shocked if they finished in the top 5, even if they had the best platform available ( though I don't believe they do ).

A Belgian company, not French according to wiki. Also its manufactured in the US.
So if they'd be willing to move a plant or two up here to build it, sure why not if its a better weapon than the one we have now. I've always wanted a bull pup.

I guess I should qualify my previous statement:
FN Herstal USA is the US based extension of the overseas company. They produce the weapons here IN the US of A - they are not imported as a complete unit....
Apologies for my previous, misleading statement....
