Would you do this with your loved one's ashes? Interesting concept. Of course, those that reload could probably do this themselves.

Loved ones can go from ashes to ashes to ammo

After my brother was killed, the members of his club shot some of his ashes near his favorite hunting site with black powder rifles

I know of a fellow who loved shooting muzzle loading cannon his wish was to be sent on his way with a bang! so copper plumbing fittings (bore size) were engraved with his name the date of birth & death these were assembled and fired out on the property he loved to shoot and hunt on...... seems to be a nice send off,
.
.
I still have my wifes ashes, I lost her to cancer in 09, my plan is to keep her till my time and have them send us both off together I know a fellow with a 9" dahalgren.....not sure the wife would aprove..... but it will be a good send off....

My wife's uncle had his ashes shot out of a cannon almost 30 years ago. It was a full size reenactment cannon he named after his wife. He said he named it after her because they both make a lot of noise and don't do much.
