Default Interesting Gun. Anybody Know About It?

I saw this while perusing Gunbroker. At first I thought it would accept 1911 mags, but it is actually Glock mags that it takes. The good part about that is that you can get more capacity out of it. I am wondering if it shares any common parts with other guns though?

interesting rifle. never heard of it though. looks pretty nifty.

I just looked around and found out that it is a convertible. Take a look at this video


.45, .40 and 9mm and apparently .22lr was planned. Not sure if all of them are available in the production model.

Its like we are kindred spirits! My first thought was that the mag well may not have been designed for the added length of 10mm, but that doesn't make sense because the 45ACP is a bit longer as I recall. The relative obscurity of the round might have dictated this choice. Seems like they chose the most common calibers found. Shame though. 10mm would be a bitchin round for that platform!

Cool concept, but even if I was not currently in NY, i would not order one until I had a chance to try one out. I'm sure we have all heard of the issues with the AR-7 platform. I can usually make an extra $700 a month making about 4 or 5 of the new Henry US Survival rifles cycle and fee correctly. I did mine about 5 years ago, and I usually have one a week come in for work due to word of mouth. I suggest doing some research on it to anyone looking into one.
