I love grandkids.
I enjoy spoiling them and letting them do things that I would not let my kids do as they were growing up.

Fill them up with sugar at 8PM, then return them.

All presents for the grandkids make noise and I ask where is that toy when I come and visit.

For some reason, my boy gets upset with me.

Bought my step-grandniece a lovely set of musical handbells, all color-coded by note and such.

I think I'll like being a grandpa- when the right time comes!

That's the problem with kids today. They spend all their time playing video games, and get no physical activity. They are not encouraged to engage in creative, physical activities, nor the arts.

So I got the 13 yr old a set of drums. Gave the 5 yr old a carpenter's set. With a handsaw, plane, and hand drill.

Oh, don't thank me. Yer granddad did the same for you guys.
