Indoor range
I was thinking about putting up a little indoor shooting range in the basement. strictly for .380 and .22. I was planning on using a double stack of 6x6 pressure-treated, making a block of 12"x12"x2'. Any suggesttions or ideas??

I would not shoot a solid object in my basement with anything. Plus are you going to add ventilation? That would be a bigger worry of mine than getting shot with my own gun shooting into a target full of lead. I am sure your wife and dogs would not like you banging away with a 4" barreled 380 all day long in the basement.
Indoor shooting ranges are constructed a special way to reduce noise and the chance of bullets leaving the range area. I would not even attempt it unless I had a basement of solid concrete (all six sides). |

Thanks all.

20 years ago I use to play raquetball in this building that was made of concrete, had 5 or 6 courts on each side and they were 2 stories tall! Today, it is the range we are going to. The benches that were in the locker room are now the benches behind the booths! What a find for them! :)
