**Important Notice for ALL FTFers**

Starting immediately, we (the staff) will be editing threads to accurately represent the content of the thread. This means the title of many threads will be edited and possibly unrecognizable to the original poster.

So, if you have a thread title "WOW!" and it shows an video of a pumpkin getting blown up, your title will be changed to ""pumpkin gets all blowed up" or some such.

How can you help? You can help by titling all your threads in a manner that would make some dude on Google easily find what he is looking for. For example, if a man was on Google searching for "pumpkin murder", he would be directed to the thread listed above? Savy? Awesome!

If you REALLY want to kick a ton of butt and be an uber elite internet assassin, you could add tags to the thread. Such things make it very easy for outsiders to be directed to our little wonderland.

Thank you so much!

Your moderator staff.

That makes sense to me. But, I don't know what a "tag" is. :o

A
PHP Code:

tag

is a key word that makes searching easier, I believe. I don't know how to do that, though. Wait, there is a thingy to the right of # and <> above in the fancy edit thingies. Looks like you highlight a word and click on the [php].

Well, I tried that, and it did not work so well. *sigh*

A tag is like a little tag that hangs out in the HTML code the underlying language of the interwebs. You would tag your 1911 thread with 1911 colt, Kimber, ect.... stuff like that. They are basic key words that search engines pick up on.

But, how does one do that?

Yeah, what Skull said.

Dzscubie 07-09-2010 07:39 PM

It's simple you just type " YOUR IT" :D

CA357 07-09-2010 07:56 PM

Will the title be adjusted if there is a significant threadjack?
