Regarding the insecure border and the influx of foreigners into this country, I cite this passage from the Constitution:
Article. IV. - The States
Section 4 - Republican government
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
A huge number of illegals commit crimes (beyond entering the country illegally). We are paying tens of billions of dollars on behalf of these people. Americans are being raped and murdered by some of these people at a rate that outpaces our losses in Iraq.
These people fly Mexican flags on U.S. soil (schools
and post offices
), they march in thousands with signs reading "Por La Raza todo! Fuera de La Raza nada!" and "Reconquista!"
The Mexican government
is providing instructions on how to cross the border illegally, where to go, what to avoid, etc. An estimated $20 billion is sent to Mexico from the U.S. by illegals. (That's on top of the more than $30 billion spent each year on social programs for them.)
This is more than enough to qualify as an invasion: they want our treasure to send back home and they certainly don't wish to become Americans.
Bush's and Chertoff's comments that these people are necessary and doing jobs Americans won't do is a crock. By virtue of their being here, they are criminals. They are absolutely not entitled to work, nor are they entitled to social welfare including medical care, housing, food, schooling, etc.
As bad as all this is, it gets worse. We need to consider others crossing our border
