As far as I am aware he was covicted but in the true sense of the word he didn't do time for what on the face of it was a common burglary and theft. This was mitagated however I think due to the extent of his injuries which he will carry for the rest of his life........whether he appreciates it we have no way of knowing but from my experience of the criminal class probably not...
