Scene16

JD couldn’t believe it when bkt ordered him to take the kid! How could he ask him something like that? <he said to himself> It was bad enough he had to interrupt his Caribbean vacation with the women for this … but to be saddled with a work in progress like the kid? … on a mission? … in NYC? … eff my life JD thought!

JD: look kid, when we depart the train we are going to head straight for the streets. There we can blend in with the crowds and move about freely.

Ploofy: depart the train … head for the streets … blend in … got it. No problem <he said confidently>

JD: you may want to ditch the prep school blazer <he said rolling his eyes>

Ploofy: Oh … right … sorry <looking down at his shoes as he removed his blazer>

After pulling in to Grand Central station JD exited the train and headed for the main staircase … Ploofy following right along. They climbed the stairs and entered the main concourse, made a right turn and headed for the exit …

Scene 17

meanwhile, back in the FTF troop transport …

“and that’s where Robo had us take up a defensive position” Trip related to CA357

CA357: it would have to have been desperate for Robo to order a retreat. I can guarantee you it was an attempt to save your lives! <he said sincerely>

“no doubt”, “absolutely”, “of course” Robo’s team muttered in response

Trip: never doubted it sir, we would never question Robo … he was our lea … <he paused, choking up some> … He is our leader sir! <he stated with conviction>

CA357: always <he responded understandingly> … So what happened next? <he asked, getting back on topic>

Trip: Once inside the building Robo ordered us into defensive positions … Downsouth to the rear … NitroxAZ, Mosin, MrWray and Robo to guard the frontal approach … and myself to the roof.

CA357: Did you have any heavy weaponry?

Downsouth: not in our load out sir … carbines and small arms … grenades, smokes, flash bangs … nothing for range or any heavy stuff

Trip: yeah, we weren’t equipped for that type of engagement. Our team was set up for CQB and assault … on its way to link up with jonM … any word on the prisoners sir? <he asked, Cinderocka always on his mind>

CA357: Intel dropped the ball on that one fellas … the prisoners had already been moved. But we’re on our way now to make a second rescue attempt.

Downsouth: how is the intel on this one? <he asked nervously>

CA357: Solid! <he said with conviction>

Scene 18

After 6hrs of trekking all over Manhattan … up, down, sideways, backwards, and forwards JD climbed out of the cab in front of Public House on east 41st St …

Damn! <JD thought> I’m only 1 block south of Grand Central … EFF MY LIFE! <he roared to himself!> as he quickly made his way across the sidewalk and through the tavern door …

Once inside he took in his surroundings … not too bright … not too crowded … typical bar/restaurant layout … back door surely led to an alley … ok he thought … I can wait it out here until the sun goes down, relatively safe and sou …

JD! JD, is that you!?! <Dog bellowed>

Flustered that someone would know him let alone shout out his name JD spun and put eyes on who had just called him out. It was … Dog …<the Hell! JD wondered> … sitting at a table off to the side of the restaurant with … with the most beautiful redhead JD had ever laid eyes on!
Long flowing flame red hair … milky white skin … a hint of freckles on her cheeks … and that cleavage! All packaged into a sleek tight black little dress with some damn fine sexy azzed heels! Hot damn JD was impressed! With a body like that, if she sounds half as good as she looks JD had to have her he thought!
