meanwhile ...
… a team of FTF’s finest led by Robo has come under heavy attack. In an effort to link up with Axxe55’s team they have been engaged in a desperate battle with French backed UN forces. Betrayed by one of their own they are taking heavy fire and the situation looks grim.
Scouting ahead along the ridgeline billt was in perfect position to spot the advancing UN forces. But seeing the size of the force and the heavy artillery they had at hand billt figured FTF could never win this fight ... he decided it would be a futile attempt to put up a fight and fled, saving himself ... and leaving Robo’s team vulnerable to a certain ambush.
Shihan: we are being outflanked on the right side!
Robo: Mosin! Peel off and reinforce the right flank with Shihan <shouted Robo>
Mosin: On it!
Trip: Their bringing up a heavy-gun to the ridgeline Robo!
Robo: Put suppressing fire on it!!! We cannot take heavy-gun fire in this position!
Downsouth: Trip and I are on it!
As Trip and Downsouth laid down suppressing fire on the heavy-gun UN forces continued to advance, pinching in on both flanks.
MrWray: running low on ammo
NitroxAZ: Robo, we are going to be overrun soon. What’s the plan? <he asked as he tossed MrWray a mag>
Robo gritted his teeth ... marched down the right flank line ... adding fire in support of Shihan and Mosin. It was desperate
… outnumbered, taking fire from a superior position
… and now a heavy-gun
…. damn that billt Robo cursed to himself!
He looked over to the left flank … it wasn’t fairing much better for NitroxAZ and MrWray.
Robo hated the idea … hated what he knew needed to be done ... but there was no choice
… “Listen up” Robo shouted, “on the count of 3 train fire on the right flank, allowing Shihan and Mosin to peel off. We are going to take up a defensive position in the factory building!”
“Hoo Ra!” they shouted in unison ….. damn, Robo was proud of them

He knew he had little time; a tactical entry team could clear the 1st floor in 35 seconds. Quickly he made for the walk-in closet, there he placed his palm on the biometric palm scanner and with an inaudible click the door cracked open. He turned and grabbed his tactical vest, drop leg holster and drop leg mag pouch from where it hung on the hanger, donning it smoothly ... just as he had practiced so many times before. Turning back again he snatched up his .45 1911 and grabbed his AR from the safe. Already loaded with a dozen mags for each in his tactical gear he grabbed the ammo bag at the bottom of the safe … another 2 dozen mags for each firearm, smoke bombs, flash bangs and grenades if he needed them ... if he lived long enough to need them ...
