I never liked The Beatles either. People just fawn over them. I don't get it.

Definitely the doors. They have some good stuff but most of it is crap. But that's how a lot of old bands were. They have the hits, and the hits are really good, but then they have the album filler that no one remembers. I personally think the Beatles were one of the bands that didn't do that. The whole album was gold. Unless you don't like them.

I haven't listened to enough grateful dead to say. What I've listened to I liked. The doors just aren't my cup of tea.

True, Morrison is an acquired taste, and not for everyone, but the musical chops of the others should make up for that at least a little...

It does. Ray manzarek is ridiculously good. Or was. I can't imagine being able to play keys like that.
It I hate the song Ob La Di - Ob La Da. I love the Beatles. In fact they've been my favorite band since about the 6th grade when I got y head out of my butt musically. It's just a grading song. Right now I'm sitting with my friends band as they practice it for a wedding that I'm sitting in on and I feel like looking for something to end my suffering with.

So what's a song(s) you guys hate?
Watch the video and crank it up.......

this one is also a real rocker.....

I can't stand music that doesn't say anything. I mean even with no words a good piece can have a message. Classical music is an excellent example of this. Lots of the stuff from the '60's, 70's and 80's was just a jumble of rhymes thrown together with music. I don't like that.

The music of the 1960s appealed mostly to people who had "jumbled" their own heads.
