I dont like Talk music at all (Rap Crap), its as bad as disco (More useless Drivel), Well over half of the Rock of the 80's was Poppy and uninspired and the GA GA stuff of today is so fake it might as well have HAL the Computer as the composer and artist. As a general rule, if an artist and their band dont play real instruments and half of their voice is generated by a Computer, they are what we used to cal "No Tal". I saw a new Country band last week on TV and none of them had an instrument, their entire band was in the back in the dark.

I havent heard much new music that makes my foot move on its own except to walk away. Good thing the Internet lets me see and here all the ones I want from the days when talent wasnt a gift from the record company, you had to have it before they would talk to you!

The best of each generation, comes forward as artists. The works of Da Vinci and Michael Angelo speak to one generation, and taggers and sloup dog speak to ours.

As a society, we are doomed when highschool grads cannot add, subtract, read, or hold a job, and think making rap music is an art form.

Its funny how all you "old timers" are bashing todays popular music. I would be willing to bet that your parents did the same thing to your favorite music when you were growing up. I don't like rap but some new songs are catchy and fun to listen to. Its a generational thing.

I still can vividly remember driving around in my MG in high school with my friend and hearing Madonna's "Like a Virgin" for the first time on the radio. I said this has got to be the stupidest song in history. Yep... still hate it.

I'm pretty sure that most of the music back then didn't talk about capping hoes, shooting up drugs, and slapping bitches. (with about 20-30 racial slurs thrown in there)

The older music was MUCH better. Every once in awhile a new song will come out and it will be pretty good, but for the most part it's crap.

(BTW, I'm 21 so I'm bashing my own generation's music. )

Good God if you consider that "New" I'd hate to hear what you consider old.

Lemme guess, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn are current for you?

This is about as good as today's country gets.

Oh, I hate most rap. There is one song by lil wayne and eminem called "drop the world" that I jam out to. It was my pump song when I was going through that divorce. Look it up and you'll understand.

I hate every thing Darius Rucker has ever done. He sucked when he was with that band that no one even talks about anymore (and many can't even remember the name, like me. My boss says it was hootie and the blow fish), and he REALLY sucks as a country singer. He still can only sing in those same 5 flat tones. Freaking blasphemy. His biggest hit ain't even his ****ing song, wagon wheel was written by Dylan I believe.

Can't stand Taylor Swift. Cute girl, and refreshing when she was new, but it's been around 10 years now and 99% of her music still has the same theme "some boy was mean to me". Get over it little girl. Time to move on.

Carrie Underwood is a screecher, as are a few other new female country artists who's names I haven't even deigned to learn.

And what's up with these ****ers singing "country rap"? Jason Aldean, you were awesome. But you may go away now, good bye.

Yeah....gimme some Marty. Dwight. Chris.
