im havin a baby
So here's the deal...I just got in a relationship a couple days ago, well...yesterday I found out that a former friend with benefits is pregnant. Im still friends with her and gonna be there in every way possibly for her and my child. the mother of my future child also just got diagnosed with breast cancer at 26 years old. she actually found out about it herself yesterday when she went in for her first chemo treatment. So do you guys have any advice for me? I have so much running through my mind I can't keep it all strait.

Be extra nice to your bosses at work, save as much cash as you can these next nine months, and buy some Eddie Eagle videos.

be a man ..... and take responsibility for your actions Life is hard enough, if you turn out to be a POS father than it will be that much harder for your children

She's gonna have to wait till the second trimester to start chemo. After that the risk of it effecting either one is slim to none. You're right about keepin busy though. I'm thinkin its time for a second job or do what I shoulda done 10 years ago and get back in school.

I have no respect for deadbeat dads. As far as I'm concerned a man who doesn't take care of his children is almost as low as it gets and I refuse to be one of those guys

Best of luck and kudos for being man enough to take responsibility for the life you have created. Thoughts and prayers to you, your GF and your baby-to-be...it's going to be a rough couple of months for all of you.

Just slow it down and breathe. Kids are great but require an enormous amount of time, energy, and patience. Try and be civil with the mother always. My parents divorced and arent civil and i cant tell you how hard that is/was on me.
