I know no one's gonna agree but I''d stick with my Ar-10 and my HK 45 USP with a can on it. If I could only keep two of mine.

These would be my choices as well. Every military base and police station would be stocking this ammo, as well as almost all good shooting supply stores, indoor ranges and "sporting" goods shops. Reliable, proven and trustworthy if you take care of them.

ya other then ammo availability you REALY dont want a berreta 92..... cool lookin but realy....

i would take a mouser c96 chambered in 9x19mm and a lee enfield smle. .303 is a bit harder to find but im not gonna be throwing it away with a rifle like that. and the c96 will cover closer enounters with comman rounds

Where would get a C96 Mauser in 9mm para? How about and exchange for a Browning Captaine with shoulder stock?

ive heard of c96 in 9x19, 7.63x25mm, .45. and 9x25mm. i chose the 9x19 over the .45 because the .45's are cheep chinese made ones, and even though they are c96(solid design) i question the quality. heard that they were well made but still personally not sure, lol.

That is the great thing about opinions, they are developed in weird and sometimes strange ways. Experience seems to be the main format of our opinions though. I truly enjoy input from those with different experiences and on that I thank you.

In my "hostile environment pistol usage" during 16 years of military experience I have had three failures with the 45 ACP on 1911 pistols and these pistols were well kept. According to my log book my Baretta has 16,700 + rounds through it. No failures, no jams, none, period. Still shoots 2.5 inches @ 25 yards all day long with any type of factory ammo I put in it. And, yet I carry a Colt 1911 in 9 x 23 Winchester. Go figure... do we humans ignore the facts or what.
