Here is a question for you all. If you could only have two firearms, one rifle and one pistol, what would be the best ones? I think I would pick an AR Type 223 and a SW MP9. One factor to look at is ammo availability.

I'm with you on the AR Type .223, but I love my S&W M&P .40
ammo availability I know, I just like that .40 better then any 9mm I have ever shot.

Just to have or for armegeddon -survival- defensive -do all- type stuff? A ruger 10/22 with a ton of ammo and high cap mags and a 6 inch GP100 .357 magnum.
