If you had to choose

Here is a question for you all. If you could only have two firearms, one rifle and one pistol, what would be the best ones? I think I would pick an AR Type 223 and a SW MP9. One factor to look at is ammo availability.

M14 and 1911.

I'm with you on the AR Type .223, but I love my S&W M&P .40
ammo availability I know, I just like that .40 better then any 9mm I have ever shot.

I'll take an AK47 and a S&W 44 MAG.

S&W .357/.38 and Marlin 1894 .357/.38 lever gun.

Ammo interchangeable, and enough power to get the job done.

Ak 47 and a 1911

GDS 03-12-2008 02:50 AM

Mak 90 and a Israli made D.E. in .44 or .357

Given those perameters: Military police Cal for "replacement" ammo availability

Pistol: 1911 45acp

Rifle: AR in 223/5.56 rem

Just to have or for armegeddon -survival- defensive -do all- type stuff? A ruger 10/22 with a ton of ammo and high cap mags and a 6 inch GP100 .357 magnum.
