I'd move back to Maine, only issue is finding work. I grew in the western mountains and the area was pretty poor 20 years ago. I hear it is worse now. But you won't find a prettier place, yea winter is tough but I'm a skier so I love it and in the summer fly fishing trout streams and mountain biking can't be beat. I'd love to buy or first place back. It was on 27 acres and a 1/4 mile off the road (which was dirt). This was only about 2 miles up the road. http://www.bridgemeister.com/pic.php?pid=176
