Cars are a curse of modern society. I hate cars. So here are my requirements when I have to buy one.
1. Has to be new. I'm not a mechanic. i don't want to be a mechanic. When I want the car to go, I just want it to go.
2. Has to have an air conditioner.
3. Has to have a manual transmission.
4. If I could find one without a radio and cd that would be perfect.
5. I do like having a GPS

If I had the $$ for an extra car or two I'd grab a nice rag top Jeep, and then splurge on a Jaguar. I am not a real car guy, but love the Jag's body styles. I thought about bidding on a classic V12 Jag at an auction a couple years ago. My father in law was egging me on, but he wasn't the one that had to live with his daughter.

of course i would also like the red one too!
HA! You want a DeLorean too!!

(The Firebird / Trans Am was another one of his cars... )

1967 Corvette w/427

I would "settle" for a 1969 GT 500 Shelby (w/non standard 427 side oiler)
