IDPA and IPSC, I'm Hooked for good
Got myself into IDPA and IPSC, this thing is addictive, half a box of ammo gave me more adrenaline than 4 boxes of ammo punching paper with all the time in the world.
I got into these modalities to train myself for a real world scenario in which I hope to never find my self some day, I pray to God to keep me away from an armed incident, but I recognized the need to be properly trained just in case some day I need to use my firearm in self defense.
I don't pretend to be the best and compete in national matches for a trophy, I just want to hone my skills while having fun and learn techniques from the more advanced shooters to enhance my proficiency with a firearm in a defensive scenario.
I would recommend these modalities to anyone who carries a gun a daily basis.
Better be judged by 12 than carried by 6
