Default "I Want THIS Cancelled Show Back On PrimeTime" Thread!

We have all had them. A show starts and you are not sure, but drawn to it. You watch for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden you are sucked in. The DVR is set, you are enjoying the writing and the acting is good. Soon you are looking forward to the night it is on and making arrangements to stay up and watch it instead of relying on the DVR.

The the hammer falls and it's life is cut short. You are left with a sucking pit in your stomach. Your "team" is no longer there on the night in question.

And then the same network spends millions on some new flash in the pan show that couldn't carry the old one's jock.

Let's start an Interwebz call to arms for Network Execs! You bastards need to take notice and put these shows back on the air. And for the love of GOD stop giving JIMMY SMITS his own friggin shows!

The Unit
The Shield - Although it got pretty dark at the end
Deadwood
Arrested Development
Firefly - Definitely!

What are some of yours?

It got dark at the end???
I think it was the first episode where Vic shot and killed one of the cops on his team after finding out he was IAD.

They had me right there.

LOL - Okay, touche'.

However that was the hook, and with any show or movie, the hook is rarely the substance of the show.

The Shield was one of those shows that truly had be interested almost every week. With the serial killer that Dutch, finally, exposed and the guy with the foot fetish, the the Money Train. Great, great show.

Ronnie totally got EFFED in the hiney hole though at the end. Bad way to go.

Help me out, there was a show about aliens taking over people in a small town, premiered the same time as "Lost", and was infinitely better.

The story just started getting good, and the series vanished. Any clue?

And what happened to "Archer"?
