The owners of this house where I'm painting have a four month old German Short hair puppy. I have to put any loose equipment up out of the dogs reach or she takes off with it and I have to chase her around the yard. This puppy is really naughty.

Last Friday I was up on 12 feet of scaffolding standing on a four foot ladder working on the facial. I put my truck keys up high enough, or so I thought, when my horn started to sound like it does when I open or close the doors with the key-less entry. I bet you can't guess what had my keys, damn dog.

The squirrel made me think of the dog, go figure.

One of my cats likes to steal & hide currency; i think it's the smell. We figured it out when my old roomate's paycheck leftovers disappeared once. He called me at work to ask if i put up the stack of cash; i told him i had noticed it on the coffee table when i left. He tore the house apart, then saw the cat running down the hall with a $5 bill. He followed & found her stash under a his bed; he said the stack was a little heavy.

I bet she'd love that squirrel, with mustard.

Perhaps he's a veteran squirrel and just want to show his patriotism.
