yeah, I was aware of the new season for all of those shows, but those are once a week. I needed something to immerse myself into. I may check out Sanctuary after I'm done with Jericho. Eureka was just a bit too slow for me.
Hells yes, I watched the New BSG, It might have been the best tv show ever created. HIGHLY recommend it.

This is some of the best police TV every made, period. If you get a little bogged down in season 2, just power through, it's worth it. Seasons 3, 4, 5 will fall so fast you'll be wondering why they ended the show.

I gave it a try under JD's recommendation for three eps. It failed to impress. But that may be because I'm just tired of cop dramas. Too over played. I don't watch lawyer shows either.

I guess if I understood the context and was of a mind to be offended, I might have been. I was a huge fan of the original back in the 70s. I'd have said it was life changing...as was Star Wars back then. The new series is better acting, better story lines, better science, and just all around plain better everything. I went into it only hoping that it would not suck. By the time the curtains fell on it, I was dumbfounded by its pure epic-ness. Only one other series has done that to me: Carnivale'. These shows cater to smart people. If you need boobs and bombs to get you off, you might want to move along (even though they have these) I personally want to have my cerebral cortex massaged into a full on central nervous system erection. These shows do that. Season two of Justified ranks way high up there too.

Now that was a great SHTF story line. That show had so much potential, and not enough audience. The last couple episodes were, "oh crap. we've been cancelled. better wrap up the year in two episodes."
