I miss GOOD fast food. At one time, it was hot and tasty. May not have been the best thing in the world for you, but it was quick and good. Slip into Mickey Dees, and you will find the only thing actually being cooked there are the fried items- everything else is pre-cooked and microwaved. Some places still cook eggs, but some are getting THOSE pre-cooked.

All the flavor of a styrofoam coffee cup.

Think it is about time for some hashbrowns, country ham, biscuits, and eggs over easy. Coffee is brewing- where's that skillet?

I know, but if I keep thinking about it I'm going to have to take my comments over to the I Hate thread. <grin>

Yes! Remember the coffee shops or restaurants you could go in, sit at the counter, order a hamburger…the cook would get a patty out of the reefer, fry it on the flat top with a press on top, garnish it with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle slice on the side, a basket of fresh fries…and a fountain Coke in a real glass!

Damn! Takes me back!

I miss my sanity.
