I miss the days when i was naive enough not to consider concealed carry. That was quite a long time ago!

Right on, Axxe. My first couple of years in LE, I never bothered to carry an off duty weapon. Wasn't needed. Then the sh!thole that the 60s hippy scumbags had turned the West Coast into, spread like a cancer nationwide.

I miss the days when almost everybody took a shower or bath EVERY day.

I miss the days when men tried to be gentlemen and weomen tried to be ladies.

I miss the days when women looked pretty and smelled good.

I miss the days when men wore white shirts and neckties.

I miss the days when baseball caps were worn by baseball players.

I miss the days when parents taught their children to say things like "please, thank you, sir, and ma'am."

I miss the days when people had clean shaves and shined boots.

I miss respect. Especially self respect.

I miss the days when self esteem was EARNED!

I miss the days when men removed their hat and stood up when the colors passed or the National Anthem was sung.

I miss the days when people who got "in your face" had their face re-arranged!

I miss the time when this thread didn't sound so much like the "I Hate" thread.

I miss the days when our national anthem was sung the way it was written.

I miss the days when you could display our country's flag without having to hire a lawyer.

I miss being optimistic about life. Realism replaced optimism a few years back.

I miss looking forward to the weekends.

Amen to that one. I was so tempted to post a smart answer, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I must be having an off day. <grin>
