Yeah well I live with three other college guys. Only one ever really helps out with the cleaning. I have been so amazed by others laziness. One roommate once brought about a half dozen dishes out of his room and popped them in the sink right in front of me, WHILE I WAS LOADING DIRTY DISHES INTO THE DISHWASHER FROM THE SINK!!!!

Woosaaaww. Only two more months. My roommates are good friends of mine but I am getting tired of the dirtiness.

We had a roommate that kept the place spotless, however that didn't make up for his other qualities such as living off the gov, smoking weed, and playing video games all day while his fat girlfriend took up our couch.

I hate when people use the word "literally" incorrectly. It is literally the only word that should never be misused.

Defender116 :
I'm in my 50s now and I don't have much right to advise you but...

To make your life better, I recommend you Google Ayn Rand and watch her interviews on YouTube . Objectivism is a philosophy intended for everyday life .

You might do well to read The Amish In Their Own Words , Traces of Wisdom and Amish Society . There's a lot we can learn from the Amish about family life, self-discipline, self-sufficiency and setting a good example for others .

You didn't ask for advice and I don't know you or what actions you are taking, so none of this is meant as criticism :
1) As far as jobs go, the best advice is to get onto a payroll . Any job is a step toward bulding a resume and it is easier to find a job if you already have a job .
2) Look at the example of Vietnamese rice farmers . They don't have hopes of large incomes so they try to see how much they can do without instead of how much they can buy .
3) Be careful about things that might turn off an employer, such as tattoos, piercings, a ratty loud car, old or worn clothes, a rebellious attitude or texting abbreviations on a job application ( I'm not kidding ) .
4) Consider filling out a resume with all of the information requested on job applications already provided . When you are asked to fill out an application, give them the resume and explain, " I need to find a job soon and that means seeing a lot of people today, so I can't spend the time filling out applications . Any information you need is right here . May I staple this to your standard application form ?
That makes you seem like a go-getter, not just another applicant .
5) There's a big need for firearms instructors now . If you get the proper certifications, you can build a part time business training CCW holders, guards and maybe even women's groups etc. Insurance can be a problem but if you have nothing to sue for...think it over...
