I have a Taurus 1911 that runs great, my cousin had a Taurus 24/7 that ran great, my dad had a Hi point that was flawless.

I use to own a 3gen pt145, ran smooth with factory ammo and for some reason it shot pdx1 45acp like it had a 5 inch barrel but reload aww that's a hold different story. And the bullets was nose diving bad, almost pointing downward in mag. I remember I put one of my g17 spring in one, it fix it but I could not trust it. I always had a fear it would fail when I really needed it. Sold it 12/2011 for $300. I plan on geting a pt845 or a g2 pistol or g2 carbine whenever they come out.

Doesn't make them a ruger, colt or smith either. They make poorly finished revolvers. For the price of the 1911 taurus makes you could buy a ruger version. And a buddy of mine bought the beretta clone for more than I paid for my glock with night sights. He hates it. you could almost throw the gun at the target and have a better chance of hitting something. It wasn't the shooter either cause he shot my sig and glock both that day and looked at me like man I got bent over on that one.
