Always good to see some feminine representation on the board (aside from the Air Force guys).

I'm in the NW burbs of Chicago, old & single.

I disagree. The Air Force Boot Camp is 6-8 weeks of learning how to properly surrender (according to my ex-AF service manager). The rationale being that by the time the bad guys get to the AF base, they've already defeated the Marines, Navy, CG, Army, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and a handful of farmers ... might as well give up.

The Navy has Corpsmen (I was one); the most decorated group of service members in the history of the US military.

Yup, Dat's us.

Of course, I respect all of the military service people (and families); for the non-mil types; inter-service FU banter is common, but when things get ugly, we're all on the same side. AF Para-Rescue Jumper (PJ) training is some of the toughest in the service, bar none.

I didn't want to offend any of the military men and women who are NOT Marines. But you know my heart is with the Marines.
