Hypersonic plane.....
Has anybody checked-out the story of the test flight of the Falcon HTV-2...At 13,000 MPH....Newyork to LA in less than 12 minutes.....They say it could hit it's target any where in the world in less then an hour....I guess they lost the aircraft into space,they don't know at this point ???......

This was the 2nd test of this system. The first was scrubbed and sent into the ocean after a problem. It is launched on a rocket into space and then released. This time they lost radio contact of the plane after release. I haven't seen anything that says where or if it has come down.

I was thinking they were going to land it on that new chinese aircraft carrier.....or atleast try

The aircraft flew more than 9 minutes of data were collected before an anomaly caused the signal was lost.
Downrange trackers were unable to relocate the HTV2 but the vehicle "has an autonomous flight termination capability.

Seems the Hackers break in and steal all the gov. secrecy stuff anyway....just last week on the news they got a bunch of top sec. stuff.....

Did anybody else wonder why NASA isn't developing this? I must admit when i saw DARPA, i thought "they finally figured out how that UFO works"; guess not.
