Default How to prevent possums?

Does anyone know how to keep opossums out of my cat house?

I have killed three in the last year. They come at night for the cat food. I never know when they strike. It is just by chance that I notice them in there.

Any ideas?

Nothing but keeping the food away at night. Nothing else will work. They are there for the food and will keep coming.

The others are right. As long as there's food available, the possums will be there. No way around it. If you don't mind feeding the possums, maybe put the food somewhere other than the sleeping box. Then at least they probably won't sleep in the cat house.

The best way to keep a possum out of a "Cat House" is to make sure the Pimps lock the doors.

Spay and neuter?

Nahhh, they've been around forever, and like the cockroach and the TV pitchman, will be around after we're gone.

I did have the cat neutered, after that he just turned into a big wussy. He doesn't even know to be embarrassed.
