This thread was started in 2009 and I am still alive.
If things get better with age, I am approaching magnificent.

74,
Some years ago,
my Granddaughter asked if I was sad when the dinosaur's died?
Was I in the Civil war?
I do remember the WWII blackouts and air raid sirens.
I do remember WWII rationing.
Gas at 25 cents a gallon.
I do remember when neighbors respected each other,
Didn't worry about locking your house or car.
Could leave my bicycle out, day or night.
Didn't feel the need to carry when I go outside at night,
or even in the daylight sometimes.
Oh Well.

And I remember when we had real men as presidents.

Damn,
Where did I leave my keys?
Is it trash day?
Ok, I am in the Jeep, where was I going?
AHHH, age.

I remember the bicentennial; when you are a little kid, all the old ladies like to give you coins. I think I still have a sock somewhere with a bunch of those quarters.

I don't know how old I am. I can't count that high.
