I hate it when people wear the American flag as an article of clothing. Maybe they think they're being patriotic....but I think it's a sacrilege. Just my opinion.

God Bless America!!!
Same here...Old Glory flys 24/7. I replace the flag every 9/11 with a new one.

Did that after 9/11 but slacked off and only displayed "Old Glory" on the prescribed days by VFW.

That changes today!! I will hold Reveille every morning and Retreat every evening!! I love this country and everyone in my neighborhood will know it!!

I agree and do the same thing. I served under the flag and someday will be carried under her. I would love to fly one but the price of a good American and Air Force flag is a little much for me.

I've got a flag on my right shoulder right now.

I'm pretty sure it's on backwards though... the stars are on the top left. I heard it should be on the right when on a uniform, signifying the flag marching forward. I guess the company who put it on for me didn't know that.

The flag goes on the left shoulder.

I don't, but I'm changing that tomorrow. I'm ashamed for not doing this sooner really.

Any other flags you fly?

I think I"d like the don't tread on me one too.
I do a majority of the time. When away from the house for certain length of time will not fly. Taken or damaged is the concern.

To fly a flag 24 hours a day you MUST have it light at all times the sun is down.
