Civil Disobedience-wherever there is authority, there is a natural inclination to disobedience. Oppression breeds Rebellion

I don't have that problem, I bought shoes that match my truck.

Most trucks and suv will pull most anything around town just fine , the open rd is much different . IF YOUR not in a hurry and keep it under 60 you will prob be ok.
What trans does the 2500 have ? auto or man ? If ..... If its a real service body and bumper it should be ok . Like I said , round here we can rent F-350 all day long , or if your slick enough go to the dealer and '' TEST DRIVE '' one , seen it done but it will really really piss the dealer off .

All in all , I'd say that trip has a 75% chance of turning into a epic cluster puck.
I would rather dolly it than trailer it , No need to pull drive line if you tow from rear and tie off the steering wheel .
The truck may very well take the trip but I can promise you it will take some miles off its life span like each cigarette takes away 7 minutes of your life .
'' so they say ''
Old boys up the rd here tow a bob cat on a single axle trailer with a s-10 blazer everyday , and we laugh everyday .

Then there is the chain and pipe method

What? That's just the surplus. And I don't even have anything that shoots it!

I have an RV so I watch to see what people are pulling with. An awful lot of too light trucks pulling too heavy loads. A tow vehicle has a limit set by the factory and the factory has been over rating them lately. That tow weight is with a full gas tank and a 150 lb driver. Anything over that has to be deducted from the maximum tow weight. Maximum tow weight is established using factors like vehicle weight, transmission, 4x4 is a minus, axle ratio, suspension. My truck is rated to tow 12k but there is stuff in and on the truck that reduces that weight. My trailer has a gvwr of 10k and it is close to that. I would get a heavier truck if I had to tow more weight. I can stop my rig if the trailer brakes fail. I have an exhaust brake for down hill. I have a high end electronic controller for the trailer brakes. I put a lot of extra money into my truck to make it tow safely and I see some idiot towing a trailer heavier than mine with a beefed up half ton and no clue to what kind of danger he is putting his family and others in. Yes you can tow an overweight load but not safely. Get a vehicle that is rated for the job before you kill yourself or worse someone else.
