I feel for you man. That was last summer when I got stuck working outside for a week.

Inside isn't much better it can get well over 120 degrees if there are a bunch of trucks running in the shop.

Just drink a ton even before you feel thirsty. Could you maybe get an inverter to run a fan or find a 12volt one to use?

I would be hauling an easy up around with me. Mine is 10'x10'. Nice for shade. And bring a folding chair for your break time. A wet towel can make a huge difference.

I'm an electrician and I also work in attics in the summer. I regularly work outside when its hot. Today I am coring 4" holes in a foundation and its supposed to be high 90's. I would take cold over this any day but everyone has given good advice. I keep a big cooler full of water and try to stay away from soda or gatorade. I drink close to a gallon or a gallon and a half depending on how hard I'm working. Just remember .... you might think it sucks but what about those poor soldiers over in the desert with full gear on???? Now that is tough!

An inverter? That is a great idea!

Especially avoid soda. Learned that one the

All the blood circulates through your body in less than 3 minutes.
Dip your wrists into your icy water, and hold them there. Sounds
weird, but you'll get some relief during your break time.

Well sometimes I beat the heat by running up here when it's 105 degrees in the valley......

A few days ago it was 81 degrees at the Lake and 105 degrees in Sacramento.
