It feels like your guts have been ripped out and stomped on.
But you have to scrape them up, put them back in, and get on down the road, there is no other option!

Perhaps a German Shepherd dog could help with the footsies and brushing? Helluva lot cheaper. Less bitchin about the fetching of things also, though sandwiches might be a stretch.

I guess you are referring to suicide as 'other options'.
Well I guess because of my background ( I have talked MANY people out of suicide) I would not consider it a option over a relationship. I use to tell people who were suicidal they must really think a lot of the person who dumped them if they consider them worth dieing for. That would get most of them to think about how silly it was. Then the icing in the cake is when I ask if they have any friends or relatives they think a lot of? Then inform them if they take their own life most of these people they care about will feel guilty about it and it could ruin the rest of their lives!!! Then ask, are you really this selfish of a person???? Every case was different, but this is the general approach I took. Never lost a one in 30+ years. That said, I can see how some would consider it, it can hurt that bad.

He could have meant "shoot, shovel, shut-up". It was certainly an option suggested to my brother in law as his first marriage (not to my sister) went South. Heck, he had volunteers lined up. I didn't know her that well, but she must've been Satan's scary sister, cause he is happy as a clam with my bitchiest sister.

Same question, is she/he worth ruining your life and the other peoples lives you care about????

those were the options i was refering to, but as i said, none of which i would consider. neither one solves any problems, but only creates new ones.

Jim i respect your opinions and viewpoints, even when i don't always agree with you. but i do agree with you on this. suicide may be an option, but not one that i consider to be any good.

personally, i'd rather go on and find a good woman to marry and make the ex jealous with envy!
