Default In The Hospital With Dad

At just after 0300 today I got a call from mom. Dad had a heart attack, he went through angioplasty (two stents put in) on Tuesday and went home yesterday afternoon then woke up in cardiac arrest. Blood clots developed in the stents causing the heart attack. The prognosis is not good. He just got out of a second surgery to instal a device called "Impella" which is basically an impeller that goes in or near the heart to assist the heart in pumping. Touch and go here. Doc says 50/50 chance he'll make it.
