If you had horse for Thanksgiving think of all the stuffing you could put in there.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. Back then we were cautioned not to eat any rooted vegetable that wasn't cooked. I was young and stupid then. If I were there now I would be a little more discriminating, I would hope! In several matters.

A Short eared owl hit my fender and hung up on my mirror the other night. I think it was after a bat or something. It was roadkill fair and square but it was too small to eat. Damn pretty bird.
