Default Homeland - TV Show on Showtime

Anyone watching? I believe episode 3 of the second season just aired and I am now hooked.

I tried to fight it. God knows I have been done ugly by Mandy Pantikin time and again (Dead Like Me, Criminal Minds) but he's on this show too and hard as I have tried, it's actually turned into a pretty dramatic and twisted tale that I admit has me wondering what the hell is going next.

Premise, in case you have not seen it.

Hot intelligence analyst, Claire Danes, is as good as they get in Middle Eastern studies and she knows all the players by name, face and favorite drink with dinner.

DELTA, or the SeALS, conduct a raid and find a Marine POW, Damian Lewis, 8 years after he was thought dead.

Immediately after he is "found" one of the highest ranking targets in the Middle East materializes and Claire Danes is SURE that Lewis' character is a turned double agent.

Pantikin plays her boss and mentor who tries to guide he carefully through treacherous waters as the returning war hero has powerful new supporters from up on high and no one knows why.

Intrigue, some killing, some sex scenes, things blowing up and some good dialogue. Won a couple of awards the first season including like 3 Emmy's.

Worth checking out if you have some need for quality TV and like the conspiracy storyline of things.

JD

In the traditional sense, no. There are sleep deprived prisoners, mindless politicians and one person who goes off the deep end and have a psychotic break, but no traditional zombies that I know you love.
