This sounds familiar.

Water and coffee for me, that seems to be about all I drink here lately.

I had some Amaretto Sours then topped it off with a bottle of Carolina Red Muscadine wine from Duplin Winery. Now it is time to do some posting.

Cane, that Woodfords is good stuff, but in my glass this evening was Knob Creek small batch bourbon, aged 9 years, 100 proof, as a nod to my departed Dad (who loved Jim Beam). When my sisters and I were children, Dad always told us that Santa got enough milk with his cookies at other homes, and he'd really like a glass of Jim Beam. So on Christmas Eve that's what we always left for Santa next to the tree. And by golly, on Christmas morning the glass was always empty, so I guess Dad was right.
