An iced coffee at the moment.

For dinner tomorrow night we have some sparkling apple cider.

We have friends that make a pretty good Lemoncello. Great reminder Lon, we have a small bottle in the frig in the garage. I think I will be drinking one cup of the traditional spiked eggnog later and then some Blue Moons.

Coffee and some unspiked egg nog. I'm quietly festive.

If I drink alcohol, dogs howl and shots are fired. It's much better this way.

I would be drinking Mojito's or vodka and some concoction....

Alas, tonight is the night we are cooking for the Fisher House families. 5 courses for 14, possibly more, families of wounded or critical soldiers getting treatment at nearby Harborview Trauma Center and I will be DAMNED if it doesn't come off perfect. We have a lot of prep and a TON of planning going into this, so I will not be imbiding today.

Tomorrow on the other hand might need to be declared JD's New Liver Drive day.

Firestone Walker 'Velvet Merkin' Oatmeal Stout.

The name was changed to "Velvet Merlin" to comply with Federal labeling regulations.
